Teresa Taylor - Teresamaree.clay

Teresamaree.clay is the brainchild of Teresa Taylor, a ceramic artist located in the seaside neighbourhood of St Heliers.

From delicate hydrangea dishes that are perfect for displaying your favorite trinkets, to organically rustic hanging decorations that add a touch of charm to any space, each piece is lovingly crafted by Teresa herself, with a sprinkle of imperfections that only add to their unique charm.

Teresa's creations have been showcased at Goody Goodness for a couple of years now and we love how our customers value the uniqueness and quality of each of her pieces.  Watching Teresa's business grow over the past few years despite economic challenges has been wonderful to see!

Rose and Sarah - Crushes, Auckland

Rose and Sarah met in 2010 and instantly bonded over their love for vintage and retro clothes and would spend weekends visiting craft + vintage markets. This idea led the pair to make a store with 100% NZ-made goods paired with vintage and it became a hub for those who loved one off, handmade, and vintage curiosities.

In 2013, Sarah and Rose took a big leap of faith and leased a three-story commercial building on Auckland's infamous Karangahape Road which is the perfect match for Crushes. With studios and manufacturing in one office, and an event space in the next.

In 2015, they made an in-house brand called Crushes Goods, where they design and manufacture all types of lifestyle goods.

I love Crushes ethos, out of the box thinking and  marketing, ambitious goals, and care for the environment.  Their invaluable insights into the current retail scene are invaluable.

Fleur Woods - Fleur Woods Art

Fleur’s unique contemporary ‘stitched’ paintings are a celebration of her affinity with all things flora. Creating from her studio in the heart of rural Upper Moutere, New Zealand, Fleur’s process has developed through years of experimentation. Celebrated and collected worldwide Fleur’s works are joyful, colour filled, textural pieces inspired by nature. Her highly sought after original hand stitched pieces have been expertly scanned to capture in brilliant detail every stitch and brought to life on new substrates to share her creativity even further.

Embracing slow, joyful living through beauty and creativity is Fleur’s ethos and her collection is designed with those principals in mind. Timeless contemporary heirlooms that bring all of the beauty and nostalgia of stitch to modern and useful objects for collectors to love and keep.

Fleur is also represented by Tikitibu. Tikitibu works with reputable gift retailers, galleries and tourism stores and more throughout Aotearoa so Fleur's pieces can be found throughout the country.

I was thrilled when Fleur took time out of her training and travelling to contribute insights into her world and journey to date by answering our interview questions. She had so much goodness to share!
